Jaba Mumladze (heavy weight)  a member of Georgian national cadet team held 5 matches at "Europe Cup Cadets" and as a result of winning all the matches, he won gold medal. As you know the tournament was underway in the city of Poland, Bielsko.

Mumladze started competition with beatinf Hungarian Akos Yo. Then he beat Belarusian Aleh Hrunton, Russian Alexandr Gokoev and German Lukas Rolveg. In the final match he beat Russian Tamerlan Bashaev.

 Besides him, other four sportsmen of Irakli Tsirekidze wrestled at this tournament, but all of them stayed beyond the top three. Giorgi Gvelesiani and Davit Ramazashvili (both of them 90 kg) were very close to their goal. But in repechage final both of them lost and finally took the fifth place. Zurab Lomidze (73kg) and Bakar Kukhianidze (+90kg) stopped competition at the very start of the tournament.

Today Khatia Janiashvili (63kg) also wrestled at "Europe Cup" and took the 9th place.

As you know "Europe Cup" started yesterday and from 8 Georgians (5 boys and 3 girls), only Mariam Janiashvili (52kg) managed to gain a silver medal.
