“Dila” Gori presented new players in the press conference hall of “Bendela” stadium. Gia Isiani, general manager of the club, and sports director Vano Khorguashvili evaluated the current situation briefly and talked about the goals.

First new players: goalkeeper Zurab Mamaladze, defenders Aleksandre Kvakhadze and Lasha Totadze, midfielder Irakli Maisuradze and forward Bachana Arabuli. Besides this, Valdas Ivanauskas, Lithuanian head coach of “Dila”, and fitness coach German specialist Tomas Klimek are considered as new members.

Besides five new players, “Dila” had several players at the Turkish meeting: Brazilian Fernando got injured in Belek and could not stay in the team. Denis Talalai is not in “Dila” anymore. Cameroonian midfielder Lobe is in his homeland and did not attend the presentation.

As for Latvian goalkeeper Kaspars Ikstens, negotiations are underway with him.

Khorguashvili evaluated the meeting positively and hopes to play successfully at Georgian Championship and Cup.

Before that, “Dila” will fight for another title. On February 22 Georgian SuperCup match will be held on “Mikheil Meskhi” in Tbilisi: “Dila” will play against current champion “Zestafoni”.

The team of Ivanauskas practiced on “Bendela” and tomorrow it will practice on “Mikheil Meskhi”.
