International Judo Federation named Avtandil Chrikishvili (81 kg), member of the Georgian judo team, as the world’s best judoka of 2013 and awarded him with 10 000 USD.

The official website of the international federation released the information.

Last year Avtandil Chrikishvili won European Championship, wrestled in the final of World Championship. At the end of the year Georgian National Olympic Committee and Ministry of Sport named him as the best sportsman of Georgia.
