Chivadze Named the Players for the Matches against Scotland and Slovakia

Aleksandre Chivadze, head coach of the Georgian U-21 team, called up 24 players for away match - against Scotland (14 November) and home match - against Slovakia (18 November).

18 players will depart for Scotland. Some of them will join the team in Georgia before the match against Slovakia.

According to the official website of the Georgian Football Federation, Chivadze called up the following players:

Goalkeepers: Giorgi Nadiradze (“Spartak”, Tskhinvali), Kakha Meshveliani (“Zestafoni”), Gabriel Tebidze (“Lokomotiv”, Tbilisi)

Defenders: Archil Tvildiani (“Sioni”, Bolnisi), Mamuka Kobakhidze (“Dila”, Gori), Solomon Kverkvelia (“Rubin” Kazan, Russia), Tedo Grigalashvili (“Zestafoni”), Davit Ubilava (“Torpedo”, Kutaisi), Nika Kvekveskiri (“Spartak”, Tskhinvali)

Midfielders: Nika Dzalamidze (“Jagiellonia”, Poland), Giorgi Papava (“Dinamo” Tbilisi), Lasha Parunashvili (“Sioni”, Bolnisi), Valeri Kazaishvili (“Vitesse”, Holland), Merab Gigauri (“Torpedo”, Kutaisi), Jambul Jigauri, Besik Dekanoidze (both “Chikhura”, Sachkhere), Davit Kirkitadze (“Metallurg, Rustavi), Jano Ananidze (“Rostov”, Russia)

Forwards: Davit Skhirtladze (“Aarhus”, Denmark), Giorgi Chanturia (“Vitesse”, Holland), Giorgi Pantsulaia (“Torpedo”, Kutaisi), Giorgi Kvilitaia (“Dila”, Gori), Lasha Chapidze (“Spartak”, Tskhinvali), Giorgi Iluridze (“Hajduk”, Croatia).

The Georgian team will depart for Scotland on 11 November where legionaries will join the team. The match will take place on “Saint Mirren Park” in the city of Paisley, near Glasgow. The Georgians will face Slovakia on the Tengiz Burjanadze stadium in Gori on 18 November.
