Against Bosnia without Markoishvili

 

The Georgian basketball team will hold the second test game against Bosnia and Herzegovina without captain Manuchar Markoishvili.

The first test game was held in Celje yesterday and the opponent won 68:63. Markoishvili got injured in the first quarter.

“Manuchar’s leg hurts and we decided to let him rest. So, he will not participate in today’s game” – stated Paata Lobzhanidze, general manager of the national team. Press service of Georgian Basketball Federation contacted Lobzhanidze when the national team was going to Ljubljana from Podcetrtek.

“We ended up meeting in Podcetrtek and tomorrow we will depart for France in order to participate in international tournament. Now we are going to Ljubljana where we will stay at the hotel. In the evening we will go to Jesenice to play against Bosnia. After the game we will return to Ljubljana and in the morning we will leave for France”, - added Lobzhanidze.

Georgia-Bosnia and Herzegovina game will start at 21:00 Tbilisi time. It is their sixth game against each other. Bosnia wins head to head 3:2.
