Georgian tennis player Nikoloz Basilashvili celebrated the fourth victory at the Appiano tournament (Italy, 15 000 USD) and will play in final.

No.4 seed Basilashvili won over Hormazabal of Chile, Massara of Italy and Lizariturry of Spain and Patrick Prader of Italy 6:0, 5:7, 6:4.

In final Nikoloz will face Matteo Trevisan of Italy who beat No.2 seed Niels Desein of Belgium 7:5, 6:3 in semifinal. The final will be held at 13:00 Tbilisi time on Saturday.

Georgian tennis players achieved success at the juniors’ tournament in Yerevan, Armenia. In singles draw Shota Meparidze defeated four opponents without losing a set. Tomorrow Meparidze will play Yankel Zemel of Israel in final.

Meparidze and Irakli Metreveli won doubles draw. In final they defeated favorite Kazakh-Russian duet 6:2, 6:4.
