The duet of Georgian Ekaterine Gorgodze and Romanian Diana Buzean overcame the initial round of Antalya tournament (10 000 USD) easily.

Gorgodze and Buzean beat Americans – Jaeda and Janez Daniel’s 6:2, 6:0 and in ¼ final they play against Chinese duet – Xuaorong Dong and Lyn Zhue.

In ¼ final Sopo Kvatsabaia and Austrian Pia Kiong will face Ukrainian Olena Kirpot and Slovenian Tiasa Shrimpf.

If the Georgian couples overcome the next stage successfully, Gorgodze and Kvatsabaia will play against each other in semifinal.

Recall that the Georgian tennis players also participate in the singles tournament in Antalya. In 1/8 final Gorgodze (No.2 seed) will face Chinese Dong and Kvatsabaia will compete with Chinese Zhaoxuan Yang.
