Anna Tatishvili is not lucky at the French Open. In the first round the Georgian tennis player will face world No.1 and No.1 seed at “Roland Garros” Serena Williams of America.
Overcoming the first round of the French Open gives 100 ranking points but the Georgian will find it hard to achieve success now.
Serena has 11620 points on WTA ranking. Tatishvili is in the 83rd place with 778 points.
Last year Tatishvili lost to Alexa Glatch of America 3:6, 7:5, 4:6. So, the Georgian does not have to defend points in Paris.
If miracle happens and Anna beats Williams, in the second round she will face either one of the winners of the qualifying draw or Caroline Garcia of France.
Tatishvili defeated Garcia 6:7 (4:7), 7:5, 6:4 at the Strasbourg tournament this year.
