Alaverdashvili Transfers to Romanian "Targu Mures"

The 25-year-old Georgian forward Giorgi Alaverdashvili will play for Romanian “Targu Mures”. This club has a new coach – Eduard Iordanescu who is a son of Romanian all-time best specialist Angel Iordanescu.

Alaverdashvili told “World Sport” that he had some variants to transfer to Lithuanian clubs but he was not allowed to play for three Lithuanian clubs in one season.

Alaverdashvili: “I took a medical test and will sign a 1+2-year contract. Everything is agreed on. There are good conditions for the preparation and “Targu Mures” is N1 candidate to move up in Supreme League. Almost everybody is sure that the club will play in Supreme League next year”.

Alaverdashvili had a good result in Lithuania. He spent the second half of last year in “Banga”. He scored 11 goals in 15 matches. This year the Georgian scored 9 goals in 13 matches in “Kruoja” and “Siauliai”. Also, he scored 4 goals at Cup.
