Temur Ketsbaia is the first candidate on the post of head coach of APOEL Nicosia, reports internet portal shootandgoal.com.
APOEL was left without head coach when Giorgos Donis was dismissed. The owners of the club want Ketsbaia to coach the team but the Georgian specialist does not want to start working for any club in the middle of the season. By the way, Soso Chedia, former assistant to Ketsbaia in the national team, told “World Sport” Ketsbaia wants to rest till May.
If not Ketsbaia, Nikos Dabizas will probably coach APOEL. Dabizas played for “Newcastle” with the Georgian and is his close friend.
