“Unics” of Viktor Sanikidze celebrated the first victory in Euroleague. The Kazan club defeated “Dinamo Sassari” of Italy 85:62.

The Georgian forward played a key role in this victory. Sanikidze was not in lineup. He earned 9 points, 7 rebounds and 1 steal in 22:21 minutes.

“Vika” scored all 4 2 points and 1 from 2 free throws. He had 2 turnovers, received 1 personal foul and 2 fouls were committed against him.

“Unics” will hold the next game of Euroleague against “Zalgiris” Kaunas on November 6.

Other Georgian legionaries will play in Euroleague on October 31. CSKA of Manuchar Markoishvili will visit “Cedevita” Zagreb and “Laboral Kutxa” of Tornike Shengelia will host “Galatasaray” Istanbul.

Markoishvili is still injured and did not depart for Croatia with CSKA.
