According to Gunter Jacob, sport director of Belgian “Genk”, Tornike Okriashvili had adaptation problem and will return to the club next week.
After when the midfielder of Georgian national team did not arrive in Belgium, sports director of “Genk” arrived in Georgia to clarify the situation and saw Okriashvili personally.
“After moving to “Genk”, he had integration problem to a new environment. He do not know languages and because of this he has a lack of social contacts. Okriashvili will be back to the club in the middle of the week. His brother and mother will come to Belgium to help him in integration. His wife and child will arrive as well. With the support of his family, in extend of his knowledge, the club’s leadership and the player believe that he will strengthen in “Genk” – internet portal nl.metrotime.be reports the words of Jacob.
“Despite the fact that the club and the player look at the future optimistically, his transfer to B team remains in force. When Tornike will be back, we will discuss whether to take any measures against him. Everything will be decided after consultation between the club and the player” – said Jacob.
