Vladimer Khinchegashvili (60kg), Davit Marsagishvili (84kg) and Elizbar Odikadze (96kg), members of Georgian freestyle wrestling team, won all fights at Yasar Dogu international tournament and became champions. Giorgi Edisherashvili (55kg) won bronze medal.
According to the website of Turkish Wrestling Federation, in final Khinchegashvili beat Eniam Ochir of Mongolia, Marsagishvili – Haki Cheylan of Turkey and Odikadze – Khetag Gaziumov of Azerbaijan.
More than 150 sportsmen from 12 countries participated in Yasar Dogu 41st Memorial. The hosts had the most participants and took the first place with 61 points. Azerbaijan took the second place with 44 points. Revaz Mindorashvili, head coach of the Georgian team, had only 6 wrestlers. The Georgians took the third place with 42 points.
