Tamaz Pertia, head coach of “Skonto” Riga, was named the best coach of the previous season by the version of Latvian internet portal sportacentrs.com. Two Georgians defender Lasha Dvali and midfielder Irakli Klimiashvili got in the symbolic team.

“Skonto” took the second place in Latvia. 19-year-old Dvali held 32 matches and scored 3 goals.

Klimiashvili held 28 matches and scored one goal.

“Ventspils” of Tornike Tarkhnishvili became champion of Latvia twice in a row.
