Khvicha Kvaratskhelia: "We Will Do Our Best to Add Another Page to History"

I am not nervous, it was my dream to play against Cristiano. I am motivated and dreams come true. I hope the match ends in our favor and his jersey will be mine.

Of course, it will be a tough game but we are more motivated than Portugal which has already qualified. It is a good experience for us to play against such team. Probably, many did not believe that we could qualify for the European Championship, but we are here and we can make through to the next round with a victory over Portugal. Everything is possible, even if you have a 1 per cent chance, you must use it and we will try our best to make another history. We are ready and I hope everything ends in our favor.

Pepe is a very experienced player, had a great career and it is nice to play against him. It will be a great experience for attacking players. However, we are ready and whoever is on the pitch, our goal is to score. Portugal has very experienced players. We appreciate the opponent. We have played many good teams. We even won over some of them but one thing I can say for sure that the names do not matter. We play only for victory. No matter what Portugal’s squad will be.

It is a pity that we could not use the moments in the last minutes. We could have played draw against Turkey and won over Czech Republic. We know we can play any team and gained experience.

We could have gained more points in the previous matches. I agree with Willy that many said we did not deserve playing at the European Championship but we proved that we can play any team.
