In the Ukrainian sector of the Tbilisi Public School N41 (headmaster Revaz Javakhishvili), an experimental New Year chess tournament was held among the first graders. Artem Marchyshen took the first place by winning all games.

Bozhena Makharashvili was one point behind the champion. David Goncharenko took the third place. The prize winners were given certificates and the New Year gifts. Tengiz Chobanidze was an organizer of the tournament.
