Georgia’s Greco-Roman wrestling team won the third medal at European Championship which is underway in Rome, Italy.
Amiran Shavadze won bronze medal in 60 kg. The Georgian wrestler beat Switzerland’s Dimitar Sandov 8:0 and Finland’s Juuso Latvala 8:0. Then, he fell to Turkey’s Kerem Kamal 0:9. In repechage Shavadze defeated Russia’s Zhambolat Lokyaev.
Today Iuri Lomadze (72 kg) will wrestle against Germany’s Frank Stabler for gold medal. Yesterday Levan Arabuli won silver medal and Nugzar Tsurtsumia won bronze medal.
