Giorgi Papunashvili had a debut in Racing Santander. Racing visited Deportivo in La Coruna and lost 1:2.
Giorgi replaced Jon Ander Perez at the 61st minute and had two goal chances.
After the match head coach Cristobal Parralo stated the following about the Georgian: “Papunashvili has joined us recently and tried to help us. Hopefully, he will do his best for the team”, - Parralo stated.
As a result, Racing has 19 points and is in the last place. Four days ago Papunashvili joined Racing with a 6-month loan from Zaragoza.
