Georgian U-19 team, coached by Vasil Maisuradze, are preparing for that two friendly matches which they have against Serbia (on October 9 and 11).
According to the information of Georgian Football Federation, Maisuradze gathered the players in the hotel “Beaumonde Garden”. The team holds the daily practices at the Saguramo base.
Yesterday evening, the team was finally completed, when the football players from the Georgian national championship joined it. The list is following:
Goalkeepers: Beka Kurdadze(“Saburtalo”), Tariel Khaindrava (“Dinamo”).
Defenders: Giorgi Gabadze, Nikoloz Chanturia, Otar Kusiani (all of them “Torpedo”), Otar Kakabadze, Aleksandre Gureshidze (both “Dinamo”), Jemal Tabidze (“Saburtalo”).
Midfielders: Chiaber Chechelashvili (“Dinamo”), Giorgi Gorozia, Mate Tsintsadze, Nikoloz Akhvlediani, Luka Kikabidze (all “Torpedo”), Giorgi Aburjania (“Dila”), Giorgi Tevzadze (“Saburtalo”), Levan Shengelia, Giorgi Beridze (both „Dila 2“).
Forwards: Davit Jikia, Aleko Mzevashvili (both “Torpedo”), Luka Zarandia (“Lokomotive”), Ilia Kerdzevadze (“Dila 2”).
U-19 will held their first meeting with Serbia on October 9, and the next on October 11.
Both of the matches will be held at Tengiz Burjanadze stadium and it will start at 15:00.
U-19 team are preparing for the first qualifying round matches of European Championship 2014, like U-17.
The apprentices of Maisuradze are in the 11th group and their opponents will be the teams of Netherlands, Wales and Moldova. The matches of this group will be held in Georgian on November 13-18.
