Levan Matiashvili (+100 kg) won bronze medal at Hohhot Grand Prix. He defeated Johannes Frey of Germany.

Six Georgian judokas participated in Hohhot Grand Prix and only two of them won medals.

The Georgian team finished Grand Prix with two bronze medals. Like Matiashvili, Giorgi Papunashvili also took the third place.
