After returning to “Springfield Armor”, Tornike Shengelia held a game against “Erie BayHawks” in NBA Development League. Shengelia played a key role in the victory of the hosts (102:96).
Of course, the Georgian forward was in lineup. He earned 17 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals and 1 block-shot in 32:21 minutes. Toko scored 6 from 13 2 points and 5 from 6 free throws. He missed 3 points and received 3 personal fouls.
It is worth mentioning that “Springfield” won the first quarter 27:15 but then, the team was 7 points behind the guests. Finally, “Springfield” celebrated the 17th victory.
Tyshawn Taylor was the best from “Springfield”. Like Shengelia, he is on loan from “Brooklyn Nets”. Taylor earned 30 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals in 31:13 minutes.
In spite of success, “Springfield” is in the last place in D-League. The club will hold the next game against “Austin Toros” on March 22.
