Georgian national team member Giorgi Tsintsadze will continue his career in Romania. According to 24secunde.ro, 31-year-old player will spend the upcoming season in “Politechnica” Iasi.
As the source informs, Giorgi will pass medical examination on Tuesday and if everything goes well, he will practice in the same evening with the team.
Giorgi spent the previous season in “Kutaisi” and averaged 17.4 points, 7.0 assists, 5.1 rebounds, 2.1 steals, 28 minutes and 16.6 efficiency. As for the European Championship 2017, he got trauma in the first match against Lithuania and played the rest of the matches with injured legs: 2.8 points, 3.2 assists, 1.6 rebounds, 1.2 steals.
Giorgi Tsintsadze plays for the Georgian national team since 2005 and participated in four European Championships (2011, 2013, 2015, 2017).
As for “Politechnica” – this team is a member of Romania A Division. The regular season starts on October 7 and the new team of Tsintsadze will open the season with the match against “Craiova”.
