Basilashvili Advanced in ATP Ranking with 20 Places

Georgian top seed Nikoloz Basilashvili advanced in ATP ranking and is in the 67th place with 714 points. It is Nikoloz’s highest ranking.

Basilashvili successfully competed in Sofia Open where he earned 90 ranking points by making through to semifinal. The Georgian beat Adrian Mannarino (2:0), Dominic Thiem (2:0) and Martin Klizan (2:1). In semifinal he failed to future champion Grigor Dimitrov (0:2).

Basilashvili departed for America from Bulgaria. He will participate in Memphis Open. In 1/16 final the Georgian will face Jordan Thompson who is in the 63rd place. The match will be held on February 14, at 19:00.

As for other Georgians’ rankings, Aleksandre Metreveli is in the 504th place with 73 points and Giorgi Tsivadze is in the 829th place with 20 points.
