The Georgian National Olympic Committee named Lasha Talakhadze the best athlete of 2016.

“I am glad and happy that I was chosen. It is a great feeling but other athletes also deserved this status”, - stated Talakhadze.

Lasha Talakhadze won gold medal and set a world record at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
