The Georgia junior judo team is a European champion. Team championship was held on the last day of Junior European Judo Championship in Malaga, Spain.

U-21 teams from 18 countries participated in the championship. In the second round the Georgians defeated Romania - 5:0. In ¼ final they beat Austria - 4:1. In semifinal they won over one of the main opponents Russia - 3:2.

In final Georgia beat Azerbaijan 3:2 and became a European champion.
