Three days are left before the end of Rio Olympics and the Georgians are looking forward to these three days – today freestyle wrestlers will start competing in the Olympics.

Today champions and prize winners will be revealed in 57 and 74 kg. Vladimer Khinchegashvili (57 kg) and Iakob Makarashvili (74 kg) will wrestle in the name of Georgia. Tomorrow Sandro Aminashvili (86 kg) and Geno Petriashvili (125 kg) will hold their meetings and the day after tomorrow – Zurab Iakobashvili (65 kg) and Elizbar Odikadze (98 kg).

Khinchegashvili and Makarashvili will start competition from 1/8 final.

And one interesting news – before the Olympics Viktor it was announced that Lebedev of Russia would miss the Olympics due to doping scandal. A few days ago we learnt that Lebedev would wrestle at the Olympics. So, Khinchegashvili will have a tough opponent.

In the first meeting Vladimer Khinchegashvili will face Nurislam Sanayev of Kazakhstan and Iakob Makarashvili will wrestle Georgi Ivanov of Bulgaria.

The morning program will start at 17:00 Tbilisi time.
