Shmagi Bolkvadze, member of the Georgian Greco-Roman wrestling team, will wrestle in semifinal at Rio Olympics. The Georgian wrestler (66 kg) defeated London Olympic champion Omid Norouzi of Iran.

In 1/8 final Bolkvadze beat Tero Valimaki of Finland.
