Georgian judoka Lasha Shavdatuashvili (73 kg) will fight for bronze and he may be the first Georgian who climbs the Olympic pedestal.

In the first round of repechage, Shavdatuashvili managed to beat the Russian Denis Yartsev.

In the battle for bronze, the Georgian’s opponent will be the winner between Rustam Orujov of Azerbaijan and Sagi Muki of Israel.
