Shota Arveladze was appointed as the head coach of “Maccabi” Tel Aviv. Today, the contract between the Georgian specialist and Jewish club was officially confirmed. Arveladze will lead the team in the next two seasons.
In the previous season, “Maccabi” was two points behind the champion “Hapoel” and will play at Europa League from the next season. Recall that, last year the team of Tel Aviv played in the Champions League group stage.
“Maccabi” is one of the most successful teams in Israel and has been the champion 21 times and won the Cup 23 times.
As for Arveladze, he headed “Trabzonspor” Turkey last time, however soon left the team.
