The fourth round was held in one of the stages of FIDE Women’s Grand Prix which is under way in Batumi. None of the leaders won their games. Javakhishvili and Skripchenko played draw. A. Muzychuk played draw with Bela Khotenashvili, others lost their games.

After three draws in a row, Nana Dzagnidze beat one of the leaders Valentina Gunina, earned 2.5 points and joined the leaders.

To everyone’s surprise, former world champion Maria Muzychuk is an outsider. She has only one point.
