Two More Licenses - Datunashvili and Makarashvili Guaranteed Olympics

The second day of the international tournament in wrestling, which took place in Zrenjanin (Serbia), turned to be more successful. Greco-Roman wrestler Zurab Datunashvili (75kg) and freestyle wrestler Iakob Makarashvili (74kg) guaranteed Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.

Datunashvili defeated Iliyan Todorov Georgiev of Bulgaria 3:2, Emrah Suleyman Kus of Turkey 3:1 and Karapet Chalyan of Armenia 2:1. In final, the Georgian will face Viktor Nemes of Serbia.

Makarashvili beat Alexandros Samanidis of Greece 10:0, Martin Obst of Germany 7:6 and Taimuraz Friev Naskidaeva of Spain 12:8. In final, he will compete with Jabrayil Hasanov of Azerbaijan.

Today, Robert Kobliashvili (85kg) also participated but lost to Artur Omarov of Czech in the first meeting.

Final block meetings will start at 21:00 Tbilisi time.
