The Georgian women’s tennis team won the third match over South Africa and started Fed Cup Europe/Africa Zone Group I with 3:0.

In singles Ekaterine Gorgodze beat Madrie Le Roux 6:3, 6:1 and Sofia Shapatava defeated Chanel Simmonds 7:5, 6:4.

In doubles Ekaterine Gorgodze and Oksana Kalashnikova won over Ilze Hattingh and Michelle Sammons 6:4, 7:6 (8:6). The Georgian team has not even lost a single set.
