Guram Kashia, captain of “Vitesse” Arnhem, made through to the symbolic team of Netherlands’s 6th round by the version of De Telegraaf.
In the previous round, “Vitesse” won over “Graafschap” 3:0 and Kashia opened the score at the 6th minute.
Georgian national team’s defender dedicated this goal to the Second World War veterans, military air forces.
“It’s a special game, which cannot be compared with other matches. We specially played in the colors of air force forms. It is wonderful, when the club pays such attention to the event like this. I fully agree with it. In this way, we honor the memory of the real heroes. We are the only players. I wanted to dedicate my goal to veterans” – De Telegraaf reports the words of Kashia.
