Yesterday freestyle wrestlers started participating in World Championship which is underway in Las Vegas. Champions and prize winners were revealed in 65 kg. Avtandil Kenchadze was to wrestle Ulukman Mamatov of Kyrgyzstan but the opponent did not show up due to injury. In 1/16 final Kenchadze beat Nguyen of Vietnam 10:0. However, in 1/8 final the Georgian wrestler lost to Toghrul Asgarov of Azerbaijan 2:9.

Today champions and prize winners will be revealed in 61, 86 and 97 kg. Beka Lomtadze (61 kg), Sandro Aminashvili (86 kg) and Elizbar Odikadze (97 kg) will wrestle in the name of Georgia.
