The European Championship among cadets ended up in Subotica (Serbia), where Georgian Greco-Roman wrestling team participated successfully.

Our team gained 6 medals and second place. Leri Abuladze (54) and Aivengo Rikadze (63) became European champions, Davit Putkaradze (42) and Giorgi Shotadze (46) gained silver medals, Joni Khetsuriani (58) and Temur Chkuaselidze won bronze.

Georgian team occupied the second place with 68 points, Russia took the first place with 87 points and Turkey – third, 58 points.

Davit Bedinadze was the leader of the team, coaches were Vazha Kraveishvili, Guram Tsalugelashvili and Mamuka Sultanishvili.
