Kakha Tskhadadze: "It Is Important for the Players to Have Playing Practice in Their Clubs"

Kakha Tskhadadze, head coach of the Georgian national team, and Revaz Arveladze, general secretary of the Georgian Football Federation, met journalists in the press conference hall of Mikheil Meskhi stadium. They talked about 2018 World Cup draw, goals of the national team, upcoming presidential elections of the federation and UEFA Super Cup.

The head coach of “Crusaders” noted that psychological situation of the players have improved.

Kakha Tskhadadze: “After the draw, I stated we do not have a grand team in our pot. I have talked to the players and they are in a good psychological situation. Our goal is to take the third place. It is important that the players must have playing practice in their clubs. The youth teams have good results and we must pay attention to them. We cannot have result in a day, it needs a lot of work”.

Revaz Arveladze: “We are supporting our head coach. These are real goals and it must not be surprising for anyone. We have a good coaching staff, the youth teams are playing well and we hope for best. The federation will support the national team”.

Kakha Tskhadadze stated that Mundial calendar is acceptable for the national team. “Crusaders” will hold the next matches against Scotland and Ireland. The national team has to hold 3 matches before playing Germany.

Revaz Arveladze talked to Michel Platini about World Cup draw. Arveladze was asked if Platini is satisfied with preparation works for UEFA Super Cup.

“Platini will make a statement after the match. Everything goes on well. UEFA is satisfied with the works. Such match has never been held in Georgia before. “Barcelona” will come with the best composition and we will be able to see football stars. If everything is held well, believe me, we will have chance to host a lot of great tournaments or matches”.

Arveladze stated it was initiative of UEFA to hold presidential elections of the federation after Super Cup match.
