UEFA official website made a list of best 10 legionaries, who so far played in the Turkish Super League and the Georgian national team’s former forward Shota Arveladze hit this list.

The list is following:

Gheorghe Hagi (Romania, “Galatasaray”), Alex (Brazil, “Fenerbahce”), Gheorghe Popescu (Romania, “Galatasaray”), Diego Lugano (Uruguay, “Fenerbahce”), Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast, “Galatasaray”), Tomas Sivok (Czech, “Besiktas”), Pierre van Hooijdonk (Netherlands, “Fenerbahce”), Shota Arveladze (Georgia, “Trabzonspor”), Mario Jardel (Brazil, “Galatasaray”), Taffarel (Brazil, “Galatasaray”).

It is notable, that Arveladze is the second legionary who ever won Turkish Super League top scorer title. In 1995-1996, he scored 25 goals for “Trabzonspor”.
