The Georgian tennis team gained easy victory in the second round of 2015 Davis Cup Europe Zone Group III. Nikoloz Basilashvili and Aleksandre Metreveli, leaders of the team, did not play this time but the Georgians managed to beat Iceland.

Giorgi Javakhishvili defeated Birkir Gunnarsson 6:0, 6:2. Giorgi Tsivadze won over Vladimir Ristic 6:3, 6:0. In doubles Javakhishvili and Tsivadze beat Ristic and Magnus Gunnarsson 6:1, 6:3.

So, the Georgian tennis players celebrated the second victory in Group D and are leading with Malta. The leaders will play each other on July 17 and winner will make through to semifinal.
