Today Georgian coach and former midfielder Shota Arveladze visited the base of “Atletico” Madrid and attended the club’s practice.
Shota is in Madrid and is doing one-week internship in “Real”. The Georgian all-time top scorer also attended the practice of another Madrid club.
Arda Turan, one of the leaders of “Rojiblancos”, released two photos with Shota on his Facebook page: “Today Shota Arveladze was at the base of “Atletico”.
Arveladze played for “Trabzon” in 1993-1997 (61 goals in 96 matches).
After the end of his active football career Shota worked as a coach in Turkey. In 2010-2012 he coached “Kayser” and in 2012-2015 – “Kasimpasa”.
