Two Georgians wrestled in semifinal in 73 kg, but both of them lost. Zviad Kapanadze stayed beyond the final by losing to Kazakh Dastan Ikibayev and Shavdatuashvili lost to Azerbaijani Rustam Oruzhov.

In the fight for the bronze medal, Zviad Kapanadze will face Nugzar Tatalashvili and Shavdatuashvili – Husein Rahimli of Azerbaijan.
