Georgian female tennis team held the first match in Europe/Africa Zone Group I and lost it.

On the Budapest Syma Event and Congress Center court Ekaterine Gorgodze failed to Olga Govortsova 1:6, 3:6. Then, Sofia Shapatava fell to Aliaksandra Sasnovich 1:6, 6:4, 5:7.

In doubles Sasnovich and Vera Lapko defeated Shapatava and Oksana Kalashnikova 6:3, 6:4.

Finally, the Georgians lost to Belarus 0:3.

On February 5 the Georgian team will play Portugal which failed to Bulgaria 0:3.
