Georgian national weight-lifting team gained two bronze medals at European championship, which is underway in Tirana. Irakli Turmanidze managed to repeat the result of Raul Tsirekidze (85kg) and Davit Gogia (105kg) today.
Turmanidze managed to use only one attempt either in snatch or in clean and jerk. He managed to rise 192 kg barbell. He rose 220 kg barbell for the first attempt and then could not manage to rise 230 kg one.
Georgian sportsman gained 422kg and he is behind Czech Zhir Orsazh with 10 kg. Ruslan Albegov a member of Russian national team and Artem Udachin of Ukrainian national team overcame Georgian sportsman with 30-30 kg. Albegov did the best and won gold medal.
