While the Georgian national rugby union team was fighting for historic victory over Samoa on “Mikheil Meskhi”, the 12th round matches were held in Top 14. Three Georgian legionaries participated in them.
“Toulonnais” of Levan Chilachava and Kote Mikautadze hosted “Perpignan” of Giorgi Zhgenti and won 15:9. The Toulonnais Georgians played with the shirt of “The Lelos”. Zhgenti was on the list of the guests and replaced his injured teammate at the 10th minute. “Toulonnais” is in the first place with 36 points. “Perpignan” is in the 7th place with 29 points.
“Clermont” of Davit Zirakashvili is in the second place with 35 points. “Clermont” defeated “Racing Metro” of Davit Khinchagishvili 47:14. Zirakashvili is injured and did not play. He arrived in Tbilisi to support his teammates. Khinchagishvili played against the USA and Canada. Then, he returned to the club and played 30 minutes against “Clermont”. “Racing Metro” has 27 points and is in the 10th place.
“Toulousain” of Vasil Kakovin and Jaba Bregvadze has 35 points and is behind “Clermont”. “Toulousain beat “Union” 14:3. The Georgians of “Toulousain” are treating injuries and will not be able to play till the end of the season.
“Brive” of Goderdzi Shvelidze and Karlen Aseishvili lost to outsider “Biarritz” 9:14. Shvelidze is injured. Aseishvili was in lineup and was substituted at the 51st minute. “Brive” has 28 points and is in the 9th place.
“Montpellier” of Mamuka Gorgodze and Mikheil Nariashvili lost to “Castres” of Anton Peikrishvili 20:16. Gorgodze and Nariashvili fought against Samoa. Peikrishvili was on the list of the guests but did not play.
“Castres” is in the 5th place with 31 points and “Montpellier” is in the 4th place with 33 points. “Stade Francais” of Davit Kubriashvili and Zurab Zhvania is in the 6th place with 31 points. The club lost to “Bordeaux” of Zaza Navrozashvili 23:45. The Georgians of the Paris club played Samoa in Tbilisi. Navrozashvili was not on the list. His “Bordeaux” is in the 11th place with 25 points.
The next matches of Top 14 will be held on 29-30 November. “The Lelos” will go back to their clubs and the round will be more interesting for us.
