The Georgian water polo team held the first match at European Championship which is under way in Budapest. The Georgians failed to Romania 6:11 (4:3, 1:3, 0:2, 1:3). Marko Jelaca (3), Damir Tsrepulia (1), Marko Elez (1) and Giorgi Akhvlediani (1) scored goals from the Georgian national team.
