Raul Tsirekidze Wins a Bronze-Medal at European Championship

 

 

Raul Tsirekidze (85 kg) a member of Georgian national weight-lifting team won the bronze medal at the European Championships held in Tirana. European Championship 2012, albeit improved his result of the sum of a biathlon, but it was enough only for third place.

The strongest in group a at the dais came out 10 athletes. First exercise TSirekidze-jerk-started the same weight, which at last year's European chamionship won the small silver. In the clean and jerk, a Georgian weightlifter on the first approach, 198 kg and has ordered strikes the rods, one-stop counter, Huhaev could not raise 193 kg. It soon became clear that the struggle to save the title was almost impossible. Auhadov and Markov were pulled out ahead considerably and has become the main task of Tsirekidze bypass Saâhova. This he succeeded in the second approach, when he pushed 205 kg, and he settled for a 202 kg. This guaranteed the Georgian tâželoatletu, lifting a total of at least three and a bronze in the clean and jerk. On the third approach, the Cirekidze ordered 213 kg to circumvent and Markova, but was unable to overpower this weight.

Bolgarec completed the push at 205 kg and Apti Auhadov after having secured the Championship title, ordered a 215-pound barbell and overpowered.

Today, the medals were awarded and in 77 kg weight category in which Russian Dimitry Hamsters (raising the aggregate exercise 351 kg) won gold. Moldavian Alexander Spak from 5 kg behind, Romanian Razvan Martin and Armenian Andranik Karapetyan. Given the personal weight athletes, Spaku Razvan got silver and bronze.

Another three members of the Georgian team-Vazha Gongadze (94 kg), Albert Kuzilov and David Gogia (both 105 kg) will go tomorrow. Irakli Turmanidze will compete tomorrow.
