Kubriashvili Transferred to "Stade Francais"

Davit Kubriashvili, the first liner of the Georgian national rugby union team, will start a new season in “Stade Francais” Paris.

The 27-year-old rugby player has played in France since 2007. He has played for “Toulonnais” for the last five seasons. He was one of the leaders of the club but head coach Bernard Laporte did not let him play often. Kubriashvili received release paper from the club and yesterday he signed a 3-year contract with the Paris club.

“Stade Francais” has ambitious plans and Kubriashvili is its fifth purchase. Another Georgian Zurab Zhvania plays for the Paris club.
