Georgian freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling team completed the first day without loss in Moscow at the international team tournament “European Nations Cup” and went through the final.
The teams of six countries were involved in both wrestling style, which was devided into two groups.
Georgian freestylers began the competition with a confident victory over Bulgaria 7:0 and defeated Turkey 5:2 and took the 1st place in the B group. Russian team went through the final from the A group.
In Greco-Roman wrestling Georgian team got into the B group together with Bulgaria and Armenia and overcame both of them 5:2. Turkey went through the final from A group, which won over Russia 4:3 in the decisive meeting. Azerbaijan took the 3rd place.
Champions and winners of the tournament will be revealed on November 10.
