Milton Haig, head coach of the Georgian national rugby union team, named those 28 rugby players who will prepare for the 2014 Nations Cup and the qualifying match of the 2015 World Cup on February 1.
On February 1 “The Lelos” will play the Belgians on “Avchala” stadium. The match will start at 15:00 and ticket price is 3 GEL. This match is important for the Georgians. We must beat the opponent and gain bonus point.
The first circle showed that the Belgian team is not an easy opponent. They gained bonus point against Portugal, played draw with Spain and scored four tries against Russia. Their successful play is not surprising because most of the Belgians play in France.
Injuries cause problems to Haig. On January 11 Davit Zirakashvili of “Clermont” got injured in the match against “Harlequin” at “Heineken Cup”. Vasil Kakovin of “Toulousain” is also injured. Jaba Bregvadze of “Toulousain” has recovered from injury and will help “The Lelos”. Dimitri Basilaia of “Edinburgh” will also play in the upcoming match.
