On February 14 Elene Gedevanishvili, the most titled figure skater of Georgia, bronze medal winner of the 2010 and 2012 European Championships, arrived in Sochi from Canada. The representatives of the Georgian National Olympic Committee and Mariam Giorgobiani, president of the Georgian Figure Skating Association, greeted Elene and her coach at the Adler airport.
The Georgian and the foreign journalists met the 24-year-old Gedevanishvili at the airport. Elene looked tired – it was a long and tiring flight from Canada to Sochi.
Despite the tiredness, Elene held the first practice in Adler on February 14. Elene will compete in the Olympics on February 19 and 20. Before that Gedevanishvili will prepare in Adler every day. Elene held the basic preparations in Canada – where she lives and practices in recent years.
