The Georgian team finished the qualifying tournament of World Championship with failure – 24:36 and took the second place. Lithuania made through to play off.
The Georgians had a theoretical chance and it depended on the loss of the Lithuanians. Finland advanced from the beginning and Rati Mskhvilidze equalized score only once at the 14th minute. Finland won the half 16:10.
The Finns had a good counter-offences. The Georgians looked tired. Rati Mskhvilidze scored 42 goals in 6 matches.
The last match of the group will take place in Lithuania tomorrow. Either Turkey or Finland will take the third place.
